San Francisco: Deep in the hustle
and bustle of a demanding society, the few that rise to victory
have met the challenge of survival. In the angst of everyday
life as we know it, our crew is faced with decisions upon decisions
on a daily basis. They read, surf the internet, socialize and
explore their thirst for information. Our benelton friends allow
us into their lives. Ozzie, a medical student in his last year,
is determined to become a doctor no matter what. His partner,
Stella, is a newly graduated attorney and has a junior position
at a very distinguished law firm. Gomez is an artist with his
first showing at the Grison Museum of Modern Art. Agnus works
in the Mayor's office as his assistant. Brad owns a very hot
diner in the city called S'Darb. Gretchen is a producer for the
NBC show, "Get Off". Mr. Clifford is the landlord and
owner of "The Clifford", a small apartment building
in the North Beach district of San Francisco where the gang resides. |

Black On Black: (continued from u-tubio)
Receiving 11 Grammys and writing 48 single records to reach the
American Top100, he created a perfect blend of country, folk
and pop styles. Each of his five children have performed on stage
with him at one point or another during the 38 years he spent
touring the globe. His talents as an entertainer go beyond music;
he collaborated on several films over the course of his life,
as well. His voracious spirit and strong influence will not go
unfelt after his passing from this world. 1 |

SAN FRANCISCO - "If you're going to San Francisco
be sure to wear some flowers in your hair." This was the
famous line that provoked an era and set the back drop for a
city that had more intrigue than Houdini. I'm amazed how much
there is to do in this wonderful Bay City. One of my favorite
spots is North Beach (DUH). This predominately Italian area is
often called the Little Italy of the West. The diversity of restaurants
leaves one wanting to eat at all of them, at the same time. Did
you know that the Golden Gate Bridge sways 27 feet to withstand
winds of up to 100 miles per hour? A great day could be planned
for a couple that wants to romanticize their stay...check it
out. You arrive at your hotel, for example let's say you are
staying at the lovely Villa Florence Hotel located in the heart
of Union Square. Unpack while absorbing the Italian spirit that
seeps through the walls and by now you should be hungry. Just
steps away is Kuleto's, a friendly atmosphere with lots of copper
railings and marble floors as polished as glass, but if you're
not careful the bread and olive oil will fill you up before the
meal even arrives. Or if you want to eat overlooking the water,
take the trolley to Fishermans Wharf - famous for fresh seafood
restaurants and specialty shops. After you've had your fill of
boardwalk philosophy and crab legs, stroll the pier and enjoy
some incredible, live music from any number of clubs that line
the strip. You can't leave without shopping Ghiradelli Square,
once home to the famous chocolate factory, and we're not talking
Willy Wonka. The original chocolate making machines are still
on display. And for the fearless romantics, Alcatraz (home to
the hood icons such as Machine Gun Kelly and Al Capone) is...(more) |
Toronto Canada: Shawn
O'shea - First came to the attention of AC when Jimi suggested
that a second guitar be added to the group, The material was
taking a more heavier sound and the addition of another guitar
would enhance the super pop group. After many auditions ,...(more) |
Toronto, Canada The Police Busted - Two members of the band The Police
were busted outside a concert hall in Hamilton, Ontario. The
lead singer bass player and keyboardist for the group were caught
behind the venue they were to perform in. While on a routine
inspection of an alley outside the concert hall, two officers
turned their headlights on what appeared to be, two characters
sitting and smoking a cigarette. Upon investigation the officers
asked the two men to show them identification. The one man said
we are performimng here and our id are in the dressing room.
When the officer asked what group it was, they said The Police.
Everyone snickered and joked. The officers continued to ask what
they were smoking noticing that both men had something in their
hands. One officer asked them to hold out their hands open. The
two were booked for possession of marijuana. They were give a
citation and were told that they would get a court appearance
date in the mail. The two officers proceeded to take the roaches
a put them in an evidence envelope. ( This is not the end of
this story. Read how Jimi and Laurie were picked up by four police
officers during an appearence at the Picadilly Tube while The
Police from England played half a mile away in another club.
They were cuffed and spent the night in a Toronto jail...more Police adventures) |
